On 9-18-64 a star was born. That star was Leonard Jackson, our beloved brother. Sadly, he departed this earth on December 11, 2007, and his absence has left an irreplaceable void in our lives.
Without a doubt, he was one of the best people I have ever had the pleasure of being around. I loved talking and sharing with him; being in his presence was a joy and a delight…always smiling, joking, and did not care if he made you the center of attention.

Welcome home...
He wanted to know what your problems were and how he could help you resolve any issues that were troubling you. He would never take focus off of you and put it on himself even when he was hurting.
Up to his last days, he didn’t want to trouble us…but, we took pleasure being in his presence. What a joy he was to be around, he was my best friend. I could tell him anything, whether positive or negative and he would make me see a way to achieve it.
My heart is heavy and I am experiencing a deep deep sorrow…and there’s not a day that goes by where my eyes don’t fill up with tears just thinking about him.
He cherished the time he spent with his family, especially his young nieces and nephews. They would play games, listen to music, and wrestle…he had a special gift when it came to communicating with children. He would mentor...
